This client-facing reception lounge was designed not only to transform the existing space into a high-end, minimalist welcome experience, but also to actively support the business’s growth goals. At the time of design, the business was still finalizing its visual identity, so we used the “IN PROGRESS” sign as a temporary brand placeholder. The objective was to enhance the client journey through intentional space planning, refined materials, and a calm, design-forward atmosphere that reinforces the quality of care and justifies a premium service price point.

The layout provided strong functional bones which were used as a foundation. A flat wall window was reworked into a soft arched opening, creating a visual focal point while discreetly connecting to a concealed storage area, keeping the reception free of operational clutter and preserving a polished first impression.

From the sculptural reception desk to the layered lighting, every detail was chosen to instill a sense of calm, trust, and sophistication from the moment clients walk in, which has been shown to increase client dwell time and encourage deeper engagement with services and retail. A curated beverage station enhances hospitality and signals that this brand is deeply attuned to client comfort. Custom-lit shelving displays products like art, drawing attention and subtly prompting purchase interest. Soft seating in layered textures and calming neutrals invites guests to linger and offers a warm yet editorial atmosphere.

In this project, every design choice serves a measurable purpose, supporting higher-value bookings, boosting retail visibility, and building client loyalty. The result is a visually elevated, brand-aligned space that is as strategic as it is serene.
