Absolutely! Our eDesign process is designed to be seamless and straightforward. Once you’ve purchased your selected eDesign package and completed the service agreement, you’ll receive an email outlining the next steps. This includes sharing details about your dream space, submitting photos of your room, and providing measurements. Your design will be tailored specifically to the scope of work, square footage, or number of rooms included in your package. Using the information you’ve provided, we’ll craft a final design that aligns beautifully with your style, budget, and needs. We’re excited to collaborate to bring your vision to life!

Who is the Design Express service best for?

This service is available for one room at a time.
What is needed from me?
Once you've finalized your purchase for a design service, you'll receive a consultation email with a brief questionnaire covering your space, budget, and style. This will include a Design Style Survey, along with a PDF guide on how to measure and photograph your space. We also encourage you to share any inspirational images that reflect the atmosphere, style, colors, and furnishings you envision for your space. This helps us better understand the elements you're looking for in your design. You'll have a set number of days to respond, giving you ample time to provide all the necessary materials to get started.
What do I get at the end of the project?
Project deliverables vary based on the selected service. For example, with the Design Concierge service, you’ll receive a tailored final design presentation that may include: a Conceptual Design with unlimited feedback, an itemized floor plan with dimensions and elevations for item placement, several photo-realistic 3D visualizations of the redesigned space from multiple perspectives, a curated shopping list with budget details, and an implementation plan with instructions on executing the design in your space. You’ll also have a round of revisions and follow-up assistance to ensure everything comes together perfectly. It’s everything you need to bring your dream space to life!
What should my décor budget be?
Your décor budget will depend on factors such as the size of your space, the quantity of new furniture required, and the type of pieces you prefer (luxury, mid-range, budget-conscious, DIY, etc.). For example, a living room makeover could range from $500 to $30K. We recommend establishing a budget range that includes both an ideal target and a firm upper limit. As the design process is self-paced, you can implement the transformation gradually, allowing flexibility to save as needed. Can your floor plans/3D visuals be used for construction?
The floor plans and 3D visuals we provide are conceptual and represent our design interpretation, not construction-ready plans. They are intended for inspiration regarding style, décor, layout, and furnishings, and may not be exact. While we can incorporate structural changes such as wall removal, custom-built furniture, or room modifications into the 3D visuals upon request, these remain conceptual designs and are not a substitute for licensed architectural or structural plans. Please verify all measurements for suggested furnishings and modifications before purchasing or undertaking any construction.
Can some of my existing furniture pieces be included in the 3d visual?
Absolutely! We can incorporate your existing furniture pieces into the 3D visual. Simply provide photos and dimensions of the items you’d like to keep, and we’ll include them in the design. While the 3D visuals will closely match the pattern, texture, and color of your current pieces to give you a more accurate visual representation, some items may not be 100% identical. This also applies to the recommended merchandise imagery. The 3D visuals will offer a clear understanding of how the final layout, décor, and style will come together.
Which stores do you source from?
We prioritize sourcing furnishings from the stores and vendors you prefer, ensuring that your style and preferences are reflected in every choice. Additionally, to stay within your budget, we may explore other options that offer the best value, all while aligning with your vision. Depending on the package selected, you’ll also have the opportunity to specify your favorite stores and receive a tailored shopping list.
What kind of budgets do you work with?
We accommodate a wide range of budgets! At the project inquiry stage, we’ll gather details about your budget to ensure we make the most of every dollar. Our Design Express Service is ideal for those working with tighter budgets, offering focused design solutions for one room. For those seeking to redesign multiple spaces, our Design Concierge service provides tailored solutions at a price that suits your needs. Additionally, for clients who prefer to invest in the knowledge and tools to transform their space independently, our DIY Design guides offer an affordable and insightful solution.
Will you make changes if I don’t like something you’ve selected?
Absolutely! A revision window allows for follow-up questions and changes to your final design, including adjustments to paint, furnishings, décor, flooring, and more. For concept design packages, unlimited changes can be requested within one round of feedback. Depending on the service selected, you’ll also receive follow-up email support after the revision window as you begin implementing the design. This includes guidance, clarifications, and answers to questions, but does not cover new design changes after the window ends. For best results, we recommend providing detailed preferences during the initial consultation.
Room Types and Sizes
What is considered a room?
For pricing purposes, a room is defined as any distinct area within a building, typically separated by walls or partitions from other spaces. Examples of rooms include: Bedroom, Living Room, Dining Room, Entry Hall/Foyer, Den, Sunroom, Home Office, Bathroom, Laundry Room, Attic/Loft, Nursery, Basement, and more. A combination-use room (e.g., a living room/dining room combined in one space) will be treated as two distinct areas. For larger or multiple spaces, please consider the Design Concierge Service.
I live in a studio apartment, what is 1 room considered?
For the Design Concierge Service, a studio apartment with combined living, dining, and sleeping areas can be treated as distinct spaces and designed accordingly, as long as they fall within the scope of your selected package. For the Design Express Service, it will cover up to 1 distinct space (e.g. living area, dining area, or sleeping area) within the studio. For larger or multiple spaces, please consider the Design Concierge Service.
Can you transform loft spaces?
Absolutely! In a loft space, any separated areas, such as an upper level, will be treated as a distinct room. The 3D visuals will be designed to closely resemble the architectural features of your space, including pitched roofs, unique windows, and other distinguishing elements. While some details may not be an exact match, the visuals will provide a clear representation of the final layout and décor.
Can you transform an entire house?
Yes! The Design Concierge service is ideal for redesigning multiple rooms in a home. Simply complete the project inquiry form for a customized bundle quote!
Are small business spaces included in the services?
