How do Design Express and Design Concierge differ?
Both service types provide full room design visuals. The key difference lies in the depth of support and deliverables. Design Express is a streamlined, fast-track option with lighter documentation and fewer touchpoints, which is ideal for quicker solutions and confident DIY implementation. What’s considered one room?
For pricing, a room is any enclosed or visually distinct area, such as a living room, office, or foyer. Open-concept areas may count as more than one room depending on size and use.
What if I’m not sure how many rooms I need help with?
If you’re unsure whether your space qualifies as one or two rooms, or it’s larger than 600 sq ft, please reach out to us or submit a custom proposal request. We’ll clarify before proceeding.
Can you transform an entire house?
Yes! Design Concierge is ideal for full-home makeovers. For projects involving 3+ rooms or larger spaces, we provide custom proposals to ensure your design is cohesive, tailored, and fully aligned with your needs.
Do you design for renters?
Absolutely! Our services are designed to be renter-friendly as needed and tailored to suit both temporary and long-term spaces.
Do I need the layout add-on for a simple kitchen refresh?
No. This add-on is only needed if you're planning major kitchen layout changes, such as reconfiguring cabinetry, appliance locations, or the overall kitchen footprint. If you're making simple updates like new doors, finishes, or paint without altering the kitchen layout, you do not need to select this option. Please note: All layout recommendations are conceptual and must be verified by your licensed contractor or architect before construction.
Do you provide construction drawings or permit-ready plans?
No. We provide design concepts, layout suggestions, and preliminary CAD floor plans to help you envision your space. All layout plans and recommendations must be verified by your licensed contractor or architect before construction.
Do you coordinate with contractors or vendors?
While we don’t coordinate directly with contractors or provide on-site project management, we focus on delivering conceptual design guidance to support your vision. We always recommend sharing final plans and recommendations with your licensed contractor or architect before construction, especially for any structural or built-in changes.
Can I request ongoing design support after my package ends?
Yes! Clients may request extended post-design support as an add-on service. This includes troubleshooting design questions, sourcing alternates, or assisting with layout tweaks during implementation.
Design Express
Who is Design Express best for?
Design Express is ideal for renters, homeowners, or anyone looking to improve one room or zone. Whether you're unsure about layout flow, struggling with styling choices, or simply need expert visuals and strategy, this service helps you move forward with clarity.
What’s included in Design Express?
Every Design Express service includes a PDF design plan with styled 3D visuals, a layout sketch, key dimensions for easy shopping, designer notes, and post design Q&A. The add-on option builds on that with product links and one revision round. This service is email-based, designed for one room, and created to give you clear direction, quickly and efficiently.
What do I need to provide before we start?
Before we begin, you’ll complete a quick intake form at checkout. You can upload photos and dimensions right away, or reply to your confirmation email later. Just be sure to send your materials within 5 business days. Your design plan is created based on the details you provide.
Can I request revisions to the Design Express Plan?
The Design Express add-on option includes one revision round, where you can request up to three product swaps after reviewing your design. If the add-on option was not chosen with your purchase, you are still welcome to reach out with any questions!
How long does it take to receive my Design Express Plan?
Design plans are typically delivered within 5–7 business days after all required materials are received.
Design Concierge
Who is Design Concierge best for?
The Design Concierge service is perfect for anyone looking for a custom design for 1 or multiple rooms in their home. It’s ideal for those who want thoughtful layouts, full room designs, photo-realistic 3D visuals, budgeting guidance, and post design support during implementation.
What’s included in the flat-rate service?
Design Concierge includes two optional live calls, layout plans, 3D visuals, product suggestions, budget planning, styling direction, and up to 3 weeks of post-design support. Add-ons are available for more complex needs.
What if I’m not sure how many rooms I need help with?
If your space is hard to categorize, please fill out the Custom Proposal Form. We’ll assess your layout and goals, then recommend the best service or create a custom bundle.
What happens after I book?
After your deposit is submitted, you’ll receive a Welcome Email with your onboarding guide within 1–2 business days. Once your materials (photos, dimensions, etc.) are reviewed, we’ll schedule your kickoff call and begin the design process.
When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining balance is invoiced after we review your onboarding materials and before design work begins. For larger or custom projects, a multi-payment schedule may apply. This will be outlined clearly in your proposal or agreement.
Can I apply my deposit to a larger project later?
Yes. Your initial deposit applies toward your balance. If your project expands after booking, we’ll update your invoice and apply the deposit accordingly.
What happens if I choose to skip the live calls?
Your design experience can be just as smooth without live calls. Everything will simply happen via email instead. If you prefer to opt out the project kickoff call, we’ll carefully review your intake form and any details you’ve shared. If we have any questions or need a bit more clarity, we’ll reach out by email before getting started. To help us capture your vision perfectly, try to include as much detail as you can when filling out your intake form. For the mid-design concept review, the full presentation will be emailed so you can review it at your own pace. Once it’s sent, your feedback window begins. During that time, you can share all your thoughts, ideas, and tweaks so we can bring your vision to life exactly the way you imagined.
Will I be able to request changes if needed?
Yes! One round of final design revisions is included in each package. You also get a round of unlimited feedback during the conceptual design phase!
How long does it take to receive my Final Design Package?
Most Design Concierge projects are completed within 4–6 weeks from onboarding through final design. Timelines may vary depending on scope and responsiveness during the feedback phases.
Concierge for Business
Do you offer design services for small businesses?
Absolutely. We design interiors for small businesses such as creative studios, salons, offices, lounge spaces, etc!
What’s included in Concierge for Business?
Concierge for Business includes two optional live calls, layout plans, 3D visuals, product suggestions, budget planning, styling direction, and up to 6 weeks of post-design support. We’ll work together to reflect your business’s goals and customer experience.
What’s included in the Strategy Snapshot?
The Strategy Snapshot is designed as a focused, one-room design package for business spaces up to 350 sq ft. It includes fully styled 3D visuals, a simplified layout sketch, light product suggestions (10–12 items), and a round of revisions to refine your final concept. You’ll receive clear visual direction without the depth of a full concierge service.
What happens after I book the Concierge for Business?
