SIMPLY EARTH
Bedroom (233 sq. ft.)
ABOUT THE TRANSFORMATION:
The existing space was a 233 square foot bedroom with minimal furnishings. The goal was to provide an open, calming and neutral aesthetic that did not feel bland. Neutral colors are perfect for those who love a relaxing and textured home for modern living. Layering shades of brown can add lots of charm and visual interest to a space. The key change in this space was replacing the wall-to-wall carpet with some low-cost vinyl plank flooring and a suggestion to add a fresh coat of paint to the window sill, door frame, and walls. All elements shown in this visual (furnishings, paint, art, etc.) fell within the requested décor budget by using a combination of items already owned in this home and new affordable additions to the room!
WHAT STAYED:
The existing mattress and a few of the bed pillows were maintained in the space. The throw blanket, side chair and dresser furnishings were also items the client already owned.

Identifiable features are removed or blurred from original photos.
I use a detailed 3D modeling process to replicate any existing features that a client may want to keep in the room (like the wall color, flooring, furniture pieces, etc.). In this room, many of the existing features were updated.
