SOPHISTICATED TASTE
Kitchen and Breakfast Nook (291 sq. ft.)
ABOUT THE TRANSFORMATION:
The existing space was a 291 square foot kitchen in need of a refresh. The goal was to improve the layout while creating a modern, cozy and functional space. New mid-tone green cabinets paired with antique brass hardware were added which complemented the warm wood accents throughout the space. The herringbone flooring was just the right touch to tie the look together. Many useful features were added to the kitchen, such as: the brass pot filler above the stove, the hidden pull out trash in the island, and the pop up counter outlets that blend seamlessly with the stone. It is also important that the base cabinets were replaced with drawers which provides long term accessibility and versatile storage options!
WHAT STAYED:
The existing ceiling fixture was maintained per the client request. Task lighting and accent lighting was added to add style and additional sources of light to the space. The wall oven was also maintained and relocated under the cooktop.
