ROYAL ELEGANCE
Living/Dining Room (167 sq. ft.)
ABOUT THE TRANSFORMATION:
The existing space consisted of a living room and dining area with blank walls, natural lighting, and a sloped ceiling, but there was an existing couch and table set that took up a lot of floor space. The goal was to open up the area while adding a modern yet colorful/artsy flair to the décor. The client also wanted lots of purple accents and all improvements to be renter friendly. All elements shown in this visual (furnishings, paint, art, etc.) fell within the requested décor budget by using a combination of items already owned in this home, DIYs, and new affordable additions to the room!
WHAT STAYED:
The existing TV media console and throw pillows from the couch were maintained in the space, and the existing bar was painted emerald to better fit the aesthetic. Details and a list of needed materials to build a DIY bar with doors were also provided in lieu of the existing bar if preferred. Instructions for DIY ideas are included in the Standard & Premium eDesign Packages!
Identifiable features are removed or blurred from original photos.
I use a detailed 3D modeling process to replicate any existing features that a client wants to keep in the room (like the wall color, flooring, furniture pieces, etc.). In this room, the existing wall-to-wall carpeting, TV media console, throw pillows, and bar shelf were maintained.
