1. Payment & Deposit

A non-refundable deposit, as specified on your booking form or invoice, is required to reserve your project start date and is applied to the total project fee. Any remaining balance, if applicable, will be invoiced according to the payment schedule provided after booking. Timely payment of this balance is required to continue and complete the service.

2. Scope of Service

Design Express is a one-time virtual design consultation service. Using the materials you provide, photos, video, and/or a floor plan, the Designer will create a personalized plan with 3D visual images, design notes, sketches, and reference images used for illustrative and inspirational purposes.

 

Design Express covers one defined space as outlined at booking. Adjacent areas, secondary rooms, or additional views are not included unless explicitly stated or added as a paid upgrade. Design Express does not include live concept review sessions, multiple design drafts, or iterative concept development.
 

When selected as an add-on, sourcing includes a focused list of specific product links for key furnishings and decor (typically 8–10 major pieces) tailored to your space and budget.​

3. Deliverables

Your Design Express Plan will be delivered by email as a PDF or video link (if applicable) within the stated turnaround time on the booking page. All suggestions are conceptual and intended to help guide layout, styling, and space use decisions for your own implementation.

4. Revisions

Each Design Express package includes one revision round, defined as one consolidated list of feedback submitted at one time. Revisions are limited to up to three item-level adjustments, such as simple product swaps, minor color or finish changes, or styling refinements that remain aligned with the original design intent.

Revisions do not include alternate design concepts, changes to the overall style or mood of the space, or requests that materially alter the original design direction requested during the intake process. Any requests outside of the included revision scope may be quoted as a paid add-on.

Revision feedback must be submitted within five (5) business days of delivery of the Design Express Plan. If no feedback is received within this window, the design will be considered accepted and finalized, and the project will be closed.

5. Client Responsibilities

To receive the service, you must submit the required materials promptly after booking. This includes:

• Clear photos of the space

• Accurate measurements or dimensions

• Answers to the intake questions

To ensure a high-quality Design Express Plan, all submitted materials must be clear and complete. If the submitted materials are insufficient (e.g., blurry photos, missing context), the Designer may proceed using best judgment or request additional information, which may delay delivery.

Design decisions are informed by the preferences and goals provided by the Client. Where details are not specified, the Designer will proceed using professional judgment aligned with the stated objectives of the project.

Please note, all project communication will take place via email unless otherwise specified or scheduled. Email replies are typically sent Monday–Friday; responses on weekends are not guaranteed.

6. Refund Policy

Design Express is a digital creative service and is non-refundable once booked. Courtesy cancellations may be considered within 24 hours of booking if no work has commenced. Approval is at the sole discretion of The Chelle Co, LLC, and any approved refunds will exclude a $50 administrative fee and only apply to unperformed work.

​If you become unresponsive for more than 14 days after the project start, the project may be considered paused or abandoned, and no refund will be issued. The Chelle Co, LLC reserves the right to close the project file and require a new booking should you wish to resume later.

7. Intellectual Property

The Design Express Plan and any materials provided are the intellectual property of The Chelle Co, LLC. You are granted a non-exclusive license to use the recommendations for your personal use only. Redistribution, resale, public sharing, or commercial use of the materials is not permitted. The Chelle Co, LLC retains the right to use design renderings and visuals created as part of the Design Express service for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

8. Portfolio & Promotion

We love celebrating client transformations and sharing the design journey. You’ll have the option at checkout to approve or decline use of your before and after photos in The Chelle Co’s digital portfolio. No identifying details such as names, faces, or addresses will ever be shared. Design renderings and visuals created by The Chelle Co may also be featured as part of our portfolio to showcase our work, but photos of your actual space will only be shared if you’ve provided permission at checkout.

9. Limitations & Disclaimers

All suggestions made are for spatial planning, inspiration, and conceptual guidance only. Clients are responsible for verifying all dimensions, feasibility, and safety before acting on any recommendation. ​For cabinetry visuals, overall cabinet dimensions (width, depth, and height) will be provided. However, specifications for internal components, such as drawer or shelf dimensions, are not included. Please consult with your builder or cabinet maker for a separate set of detailed cabinetry drawings. ​The Chelle Co, LLC is not responsible for outcomes related to construction, product purchases, accuracy of third-party information (including product imagery and descriptions), client implementation, or third-party installations.
